Flopsy the Whimsical Clown is a good friend of Clarobotoo. He will appear in many songs in the Beginning Clarinet Songbook. He can also help you learn the names of the pitches on the clarinet with Flopsy the Whimsical Clown's Pitch Name Games. The games will not only help you learn the names of the notes, but they will improve your music reading skills. This would be a good time to start with Game 1, which focuses on C, D, and E -- all of the notes in these songs. Have Fun! Helpful Suggestions Sound: This piece includes the pitches C, D, and E in the lower register. You can find the fingerings here. Rhythm: Your time signature is three-four time, which means that there are three beats in a measure and the quarter note is equal to one beat. Melody: This piece consists of 2, four-measure phrases. Make sure to breathe where it is marked.
